Creative Direction · From the Labels to the Brands

Creative Director
of Life.

Ten years inside the major labels — Roc Nation, Columbia, Interscope, Dreamville — taught me how culture actually gets made. Now I'm bringing that same room to brands. Imagine Basquiat doing underground campaigns for Coca-Cola. That's the lane.

A working theory

Content is what shapes culture right now. Connecting authentic voices with timeless storytelling is what creates emotional connection — and emotional connection is what pushes culture forward.

01 / About

From the label rooms to the brand decks.

I spent the last decade as a creative director inside the music industry — most recently at Jay-Z's Roc Nation, and before that with Columbia, Sony, Interscope, Atlantic, Capitol, RCA, Motown, UMG, and Dreamville. I built rollouts for Megan Thee Stallion, Polo G, Lil Tjay, Ma$e, and Elevation Worship. And the work crossed over into sports — directed campaigns for Cam Newton, Joe Johnson, Robby Anderson, Bismack Biyombo, and others. I learned how culture gets made — in the rooms where it actually happens, before the rest of the world catches on.

Now I'm doing the same thing for brands. Think Basquiat doing underground campaigns for Coca-Cola. The same instincts that broke artists out of nowhere — the taste, the timing, the visual language, the relationships — applied to brands that want to scale tastefully, growing revenue without losing the story.

And I bring the rolodex with me. Every artist, photographer, director, and stylist I've ever worked with on a label campaign is a phone call. Brands hire agencies. Culture hires friends. That's the unfair advantage I'm building Midnight Collective on — and the reason our clients are seeing millions of monthly views, hundreds of thousands in added monthly revenue, and brands that finally feel relevant.

I'm based in Charlotte, NC — and I've spent years helping shape the music and creative culture coming out of this city. A lot of the artists I've directed for came up here. The work isn't done. I'm always looking for ways to give back, invest in the next wave of Charlotte creatives, and make sure this city gets the credit it deserves.
